But when I called the actual store (thank you, deep Google search), the guy was cool, but I didn't have the SKU.

I drove BACK to the office and logged in to get the SKU and called him back. He said he didn't see that guitar but he'd look around and call me back. Being Best Buy, I thought - Yeah right. But he did call back - and told me he had found this guitar on a shelf in the warehouse. I think he was as surprised as I was to find it actually in stock. I couldn't pass it up. 75 miles later, it was mine.
